BRC Global Standard for Packaging and Packaging Materials
What It Is
The BRC (British Retail Consortium) Global Standard for Packaging is an internationally recognized food safety certification. It covers food safety management, quality, and operational criteria for packaging manufacturers.
Why It Matters to Buyers
BRC certification is a prerequisite for supplying to most major European and North American retailers, including Tesco, Waitrose, Marks & Spencer, Walmart, Costco, and Kroger.
